I was originally hired for 8 weeks to develop and implement the new corporate identity for the Purple Agency and be the custodian of the new brand guidelines across the company. Initial work was comprised of relatively dry design work, such as corporate letterheads, business cards, legal documents, rebranding internal assets, etc. But over time, the guidelines were relaxed enough to include a playfulness that was used to try to adjust the “cardigan-wearing accountant” reputation of the company. I stayed on for almost three years.
